The Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) returns to Dubai for it’s seventh year and it just keeps getting bigger and better each year.

Promising a fun filled weekend, the Dubai World Trade Centre will be transformed to a sci-fi, popular culture, film and comic dream this April 5 -7. 

If cosplay, movie screening and previews, celebrity guests, anime, sci-fi, superheroes, gaming, workshops and panel discussions sound like something you’d be interested in then this is the festival for you!

They’ve been teasing fans with celebrity guests to expect

Fans have been left wanting more as the celebrity line up is slowly released, with teasers hinting at who the celebs may be.

Fans can look forward to official panel discussions, meet and greets, photos and autographs from actors and creators of some of the most popular shows, films and comics.

Game of Thrones Lady Melisandre – Carice van Houten

The Green Power Ranger – Jason David Frank

Star Trek, Lord of the Rings and Thor actor – Karl Urban

Comic artist – Adam Kubert

But most of the comments are pointing towards actress Karen Gillan.

The actress is no stranger to the comic world staring in ‘Doctor Who’ for three years before moving on to films such as the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ franchise and most recently in ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’
