Doctors in the UAE are warning about a new wave of bacterial and viral infections.
These infections are to peak this month and continue till the second week of March.
Doctors are reporting a “higher than average” number of people requiring hospitalisation.
It is not just a viral influenza but a combination of upper and lower respiratory tract infections caused by a combination of air-borne bacteria, reports Gulf News.
Anyone experiencing ongoing symptoms is advised to seek medical assistance.
