A dog shelter that homes abused and abandoned dogs in the UAE has run out of food.

Stray Dogs Centre UAQ posted an SOS message to their followers on Monday.

In the appeal, the shelter, which is a registered and non-profit organisation that regularly updates its followers with news, published an ‘urgent plea for a food bill’.

The shelter informed readers they are currently in debt and have no line of credit to purchase food.
