Three Dubai-based chefs have done the city proud at the S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition 2016.
The Middle East and Africa regional roundĀ event, held at South African Chef’s Academy, had ten chefs battling it out in front of a panel of three judges. Each had to prepare a dish each which was then judged based on its ingredients, beauty, skill, genius and message.
Head chef of Ossiano at Atlantis The Palm,Ā GrĆ©goire Berger was crowned winner while chefsĀ Michael OāShea from The IvyĀ Dubai andĀ Eka Mochamad from Bateaux Dubai came second and third respectively.
ChefĀ GrĆ©goire Berger will now complete for the final round of theĀ S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 in Milan in October.Ā
