Dubai’s Energy By The Year 2050 Will Be Clean And This Definitely Proves A Bright Green Future

Green yet again, the city you call home is proving to be future-thinking and environmentally aware for many of the projects to come down the line. 

Solar energy will account for 75% of Dubai’s consumption by the year 2050, CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority announced at the World Government Summit

In efforts to make Dubai a greener place to be, a plan was launced last year by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 aims to produce 7% of power output by 2020 – 25% by 2030 – and 75% by 2050.
