There are already a couple of pretty spectacular places you can berth it around Dubai, however a new Dubai Harbour has been revealed and it will be a destination in itself.
Featuring three bays in total, and located next to Palm Jumeriah, it has the capacity to berth 1,100 boats in total however, superyacht owners in particular are in for a real treat… with a 180-berth facility exclusively for superyachts and extra heli-pad facilities also under construction, ‘cos yano, Dubai.
Developed by Meraas the three harbours, Harbour Marina, Bay Marina, and Palm View Marina will feature a lighthouse, cafes, shops and hotels and all will be fully revealed at Dubai Boat Show (happening NOW until March 2).
In the UAE alone, the boating industry is already home to more than 10,000 registered small-to-midsized boats, and many of the Middle East’s 216 40-metre-plus superyachts call Dubai home. The boating industry is valued at between $1.3bn to $1.5bn and this value is only increasing, according to reports.
