Dubai Police will be issuing pardons to drivers who have committed minor offenses on the roads, thanks to a Ramadan initiative. 

Drivers who committed minor offenses will be receiving informative booklets on driving, rather than a fine, in the spirit of the Year of Giving. 

Motorists who commit offenses that are pardoned will also be asked to sign documentation that they will not repeat the offense. 

The initiative will run for the duration of Ramadan.
