Dubai Suspends Entertainment Activities With Immediate Effect In Respect Of President Sheikh Khalifa
The second President of the UAE, Highness Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan passed away on Friday, May 13.
In honour of the late UAE President, a mourning period of 40 days has been declared along with the suspension of work in ministries, departments, federal and local institutions, and the private sector for 3 days, starting today.
Moreover, ​Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET) has issued a circular announcing a HALT on all entertainment that features musical performances/dance in Dubai with immediate effect until Tuesday, May 17.
