MAJOR UPDATE: Dubai World Cup Will Not Hold Any Concert This Year

Avatar

The US$30m Dubai World Cup, which takes place on the final weekend of March each year, is arguably our Emirate’s biggest sporting plus social event on the calendar.

It’s known as the ‘world’s richest horse race’, and the 23rd edition of the world cup is happening at the state-of-the-art Meydan Racecourse on March 31, 2018.

It’s no wonder that this fancy event attracts some of the biggest names in racing as well as the entertainment industry.

In fact, the headlining concert is one of its highlights— so much so that we’ve been waiting with baited breaths for the organisers to announce which A-list celebrity will be wowing the audience this year.

We even asked you guys on Instagram who’ll be taking to the stage at the world’s richest horse race

Well, as it turns out, the organisers have decided to do away with the concert and will just have a band playing, along with their signature fireworks for the entertainment show.

However, attendees with Apron Views tickets and above can get FREE entry at Soho Garden DXB and WHITE…which is where the after parties are happening.

That’s quite a sweet deal.
