Dubai’s Stunning New Infinity Bridge Is An “Architectural Masterpiece”
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, described the newly opened ‘Infinity Bridge’ in Shindagha as an “architectural masterpiece” and shared a meaningful tweet saying, “Our bridges towards the future .. Our ambitions are endless.”
It’s part of the AED5.3 billion Al Shindagha Corridor Project, it’s six lanes in each direction, 300 metres long and 22 metres wide and can accommodate 24,000 vehicles in both directions.
It’s shaped exactly like an infinity symbol
The Shindagha Corridor Project will extend 13km along the Sheikh Rashid Street as well as Al Mina, Al Khaleej, and Cairo streets.
