The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced a four-day holiday for the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays. This applies to both the public, private sector, ministries and federal bodies in the UAE.
In an official tweet, shared by the FAHR on Thursday- it mentioned that the Eid Al Adha holidays would take place on the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of Dhu’l Hijjah.
Dhu’l- Hijjah is the last month in the Islamic calendar, as this is also the time when the Hajj and Festival of the Sacrifice occur.
An updated tweet from the FAHR stated that employees in the UAE will be entitled for days off from Saturday, August 10, until Tuesday, August 13.
