Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced over Twitter that holidays for the public sector (federal bodies) will start from next week, 3 July, until 10 July.
It becomes a ten-day break counting the weekend of 1 to 2 July. Holidays for the private sector are yet to be announced. With the first day of Eid likely to fall on 6 July, it could be a four-day break for the rest of us. Time will tell (or more like the moon sighting committee will).
