Emirates is expecting a peak in traffic as plenty of visitors are expected to pass through Terminal 3 this weekend ahead of the spring break.
The busiest time for departures will be on Friday, March 23 from morning and continuing all day on both Saturday 24 and Sunday 25.
Because of all the ongoing road and construction works, Emirates is encouraging travellers to arrive early and travel with extra time in hand to avoid delays and make your journey seamless.
It will open its check-in counters six hours before a flight’s departure, but ask passengers to get to the airport at least three hours before their flight time.
Passengers are also expected to check in no later than 2 hours prior to departure, class of travel notwithstanding.
Customers who attempt to check-in less than 60 minutes before their scheduled flight will not be accepted for travel.
You can also check in online anytime from 48 hours to 90 minutes before your departure.
Emirates is also offering car park check-in facilities with their 16 check-in counters, all located in Zone C. You can use these to check in and drop off your luggage.
Always remember to adhere to carry-on baggage weight limits, which are 7kg for Economy Class and 14kg for Business and First Class. Staff will be checking the weight of carry-on bags at various touch points before passengers board their flights.
