Telecom provider, Etisalat has announced it is dropping its roaming rates by up to 29% in a bid to encourage residents to use roaming services. 

Effective April 1, the rates are valid for both pre- and post-paid services and includes calls, SMS and data services. 

Data is down to AED2.203 per MB (from AED3.122). The rates are valid in GCC countries, and various packages are available too.
