If
you use any form of social media then you pretty much know what
yesterday was like.
Emirates
flight EK521 made an emergency landing at Dubai International Airport and
almost immediately people were sharing images and videos of the fire that ripped through the aircraft.
While there were no fatalities reported amongst those on board,
a brave UAE firefighter lost his life while
containing the fire.
Post the incident, General Civil Aviation Authority has warned
residents about posting images of aviation accidents online.
#GCAA warns all residence in the #UAE to stop abusing social networks by publishing videos, news or pictures of aviation’s accidents.
