Avatar

The monsoon season has hit Kerala once again and resulted in dangerous landslides and fatalities. As a consequence, it was announced on Friday that all flights to and from Kochi International Airport would be temporarily halted.

As of Sunday morning, flight operations from the international airport have resumed

The airport stayed shut for two days due to the airport and runway area being waterlogged following heavy rains.

The Abu Dhabi-Kochi Indigo flight touched down at around 12.15 pm, marking the resumption of the operations.
