Everything’s changing across the world as the situation with the pandemic is showing improvements. Firstly, travel has become a lot easier with lesser requirements.
Previously, almost every passenger from every country needed to do a PCR test prior to travelling. This is definitely not the case now!
Passengers from the UAE no longer need to do a PCR test to travel to countries India, Italy, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Pakistan and more
If you’re travelling from the UAE, to the counties listed below, you don’t need to do a PCR test prior to your departure
If you’re not fully vaccinated, the rule may vary and you may in fact still need to do a PCR test prior to your travel to these countries. If you’re coming from one of these countries and to the UAE, check Emirates Airlines, Etihad Airways, or the airlines you’ll be travelling with.
- Aruba.
- Bangladesh. Non-vaccinated passengers are required to submit a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to departure.
- Bahrain.
- Brunei.
- Canada. Those who are not fully vaccinated need to quarantine upon arrival. Fully-vaccinated visitors can still be randomly picked for testing on arrival.
- Cambodia. Fully-vaccinated passengers no longer need to show a PCR test result. Those who cannot show proof of vaccination would need to quarantine for 14 days.
- Cyprus. Non-vaccinated passengers are required to submit a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to travel or an antigen rapid test 24 hours prior to departure.

- Finland
- Greece
- Hungary.
- Iceland. No PCR tests are necessary for vaccinated or non-vaccinated passengers.
- India.
- Indonesia. On-arrival testing will only be required for travellers who fail temperature screening.
- Ireland.
- Jordan.
- Kuwait.
- Thailand. Testing on arrival is still mandatory.
- Oman.
- The Maldives.
- The Netherlands.
- The Philippines. Non-vaccinated passengers are required to submit a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to travel.
- Nigeria.
- Norway.
- South Africa. Non-vaccinated passengers are required to submit a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to travel.
- Mauritius.
- Nepal.
- Seychelles. Non-vaccinated passengers are required to submit a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to travel.
- Pakistan. Non-vaccinated passengers are required to submit a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to travel.
- Switzerland.
