UAE’s space journey has hitherto been remarkable to say the least, and National Geographic, it seems, agree wholeheartedly.

The American digital and satellite TV network has announced a four-year partnership with the Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) to document UAE’s space-related milestones in a four-part documentary series.

Seriously, how cool is that!

The documentary will be a four-part series chronicling the meteoric rise of UAE into space, its achievements and ambitions

The series will also cover the launch of KhalifaSat, the first ever Emirati-developed satellite as well as the UAE’s plans of building the first city on Mars

The series will also examine the possibility of life beyond earth as per the data collected by the UAE from space and advanced research

“We are so proud of this groundbreaking partnership, which celebrates the UAE leadership’s bold vision to inspire generations of Emiratis to reach for the stars,” said Sanjay Raina, senior vice president Fox Networks Group and general manager for Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan.

“Our fascination with space goes back over 100 years and we have been passionate about bringing stories of new frontiers of exploration to audiences around the world since then,” he concluded.
