Netflix Is Going To Produce Its FIRST Arabic Horror Drama Series In The Region And You Need To Be Prepared

If you’re a horror movie junkie and you live in the Middle East, then you’re about to get even more spooked.

Netflix just released a plan to produce it’s first ever Arabic language horror series in the Arab region, called Jinn – subtitles will be included.

Jinn’s story is based on the supernatural occurrences of groups of teenagers across the region – producers will be shooting the series across different countries in the region and choosing different cast members in each location.

Not to be confused with a previous Emirati horror production, Djinn, which was released back in 2013 about a young Emirati couple who experience supernatural elements in their home.

Netflix may have agreed, but the Arabic-based production is currently in it’s earliest stages – no roles, cast, script, duration or episodes have been confirmed yet.
