Happy Paddy’s Day! The Burj Khalifa Went Green To Mark The Irish National Holiday

What a day to be Irish!

March 17 is the day Ireland marks its national holiday, and in the ULTIMATE tribute, the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building has turned green in celebration.

This will tug of the heartstrings of the 8,000+ Irish expats who call Dubai home.

St. Patricks Day is marked with parades and parties (a reported 70 million people celebrate the day worldwide) and Dubai is no different

Traditional Irish dancers and PLENTY of celebrations sprung up throughout the city this weekend.

The world is green for Paddy’s Day

A busy Irish tourism board ensure Dubai and other parts of the world all marked the day, with other UAE landmarks including the iconic Burj Al Arab and the Cayan Tower all reppin’ the Emerald Isle.
