Indian chef Gaggan Anand needs no introduction really.
But if we have to tell you something about him or his progressive Indian restaurant (with the same name) in Bangkok then let’s stick to one thing: since itĀ opened in 2010, it has been a constant name on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. Some of its titles include: best restaurant in Thailand and best in Asia as well.
Recently, at an international event he told Caterer Middle East that he’s looking at opening a restaurant in Dubai, but it won’t happen until the end of next year. A large part of it depends on the deal he gets, but he’s sure the city would work because Indian food is more accepted in DubaiĀ than it is in Thailand.
The concept is not known yet,Ā but if the food isĀ going to be anything like Gaggan then we’reĀ counting down already!
