The Price Of Fish In Dubai Has Gone Through The Roof Due To A Massive Shortage

Avatar

This
summer isn’t proving too good for fish dealers or fish lovers.

Due to humidity and high temperatures, the flow of fresh fish
has dried out thus causing prices to rocket. While problems in supply are
pretty common during summer, this year it seems to be even worse.

In fact, restaurants in the other emirates have been
complaining of a lack of availability of fresh fish thus causing them to drop
certain items from their menu.

As per website Emirates 247, fish market vendors have stated the new prices as follows:

Sardines are now available at AED 50 for 4kg
