How To Survive The Saturday Night Fear That All Teachers Are Currently Going Through

Avatar

It’s the night all teachers have been dreading for the last two to three weeks.

After an enjoyable and kid-free winter break, schools across the UAE re-open tomorrow and for teachers it’s all a little too soon and too real.

You haven’t experienced true fear, until you have only one more sleep before returning to a room full of 30 five year olds.

Positive thoughts

If you think it, it will be.

Maybe putting out positive thoughts into the world will cause some cosmic shift and tomorrow will only bring good things.

Convince yourself everything will be ok

Of course the kids will be on their best behaviour.

They won’t be tired or cranky.

They won’t have forgotten everything you’ve worked on since September.

Just keep telling yourself things will be fine and who knows, you may even start to believe yourself.

Pre-ward yourself

You’re about to head into a tough five days so why not reward yourself now?

Why wait until you’ve done the work?

Treat yourself for the hard work you’re about to do, because we all know its coming.

Preparation is the key to success

Pack your bag, prepare your lunch, check your schedule.

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

In reality, you will be searching for your books everywhere, lunch will be provided by the cafeteria and you’ll probably go to the wrong classroom at least once.

But hey, as long as you turn up that’s half the battle.

Go to bed early and get a good nights rest

Who are you kidding, you’ll be awake for the sunrise.

Coffee is your only friend now.

Good Luck because we know you’ll need it!
