There are restaurants and then there are the restaurants.
You know those places you want to be the first to try out not only because it ticks a name off a foodie’s bucket list but it also indicates your appreciation for good (by which we mean damn good) food.
One of these is Al Mahara at Burj Al Arab. Yes, it is an old restaurant and it’s nice but it’s becoming a lot nicer. From Saturday it’s going to be a pescatarian’s retreat. Nathan Outlaw is taking control of the kitchen (yep, the guy who has a two-Michelin star restaurant on his resume).
Book your table if you want an evening that’s all about fuss-free fabulous food and matchless service in a venue that looks like it’s a picture out of a book.
Lunch is priced at AED 450 (three course) and if available from 12.30pm to 3pm, while dinner is priced at AED 650 (four course) and is available from 7pm to 11.30pm. The number to get your Saturday (or any other day post 24 September) meal sorted is 04 301 7400.
Bon appétit!
