The Height Of The New Tower At Dubai Creek Has Been Announced And It’s Going To Be Massive

Emaar Properties announced the erection of a new tower ‘taller than the Burj Khalifa’ just over two months ago and now they’ve stated that work will commence on ‘The Tower’ late next month. They’ve also released information stating that the Dubai Creek Harbour centrepiece will be 100 metres taller than the Burj Khalifa! So, that’s 928m, just 72 metres shy of Saudi’s new ‘Jeddah Tower’ which is expected to also be completed by 2020.

“The tower will have a boutique hotel, few floors of gardens, restaurants, observation [decks] and function halls. The plaza will be much bigger than this [Downtown] plaza because of the sheer size of the tower and the cables… but what we will do with the plaza and how we beautify it and real estate around it will be quite a job,”
