Ah, those pesky traffic fines which always put a dent in your monthly savings. 

Well, good news is that you can now avoid paying traffic fines in lump sum and pay it in installments, according to a new directive by the Dubai Police. 

However, drivers who hold credit cards from Dubai Islamic Bank will be able to benefit

If you hold a CC from Dubai Islamic Bank and have a minimum payment of AED 500, you can give installments over a period of three, six, nine or twelve months, and that too interest-free. 

New channels of payment

Brigadier Hameed Salem Al Suwaidi, deputy director of income department in Dubai Police, signed the agreement of this easy installment plan to open new channels of payment for the motorists.
