IT’S HERE: The UAE Public Holiday Dates For 2019 Are OUT

The list of UAE public holidays for 2019 is out. However, the exact dates for Islamic holidays are subject to moon sightings…so they may vary.

Here’s a tentative round-up of all the 2019 holidays:

  • Tuesday, January 1- New Year’s Day
  • Wednesday, April 3 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Isra’a Wal Mi’raj (Prophet’s Ascension)
  • Tuesday, June 3 or 4 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Eid Al-Fitr
  • Saturday, August 10 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Arafat Day (Haj)
  • Sunday, August 11 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Eid Al-Adha
  • Saturday, August 31 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Al Hijri (Islamic New Year)
  • Sunday, November 9 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday
  • Saturday, November 30- Commemoration Day
  • Monday, December 2- UAE National Day
