The list of UAE public holidays for 2019 is out. However, the exact dates for Islamic holidays are subject to moon sightings…so they may vary.
Here’s a tentative round-up of all the 2019 holidays:
- Tuesday, January 1- New Year’s Day
- Wednesday, April 3 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Isra’a Wal Mi’raj (Prophet’s Ascension)
- Tuesday, June 3 or 4 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Eid Al-Fitr
- Saturday, August 10 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Arafat Day (Haj)
- Sunday, August 11 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Eid Al-Adha
- Saturday, August 31 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Al Hijri (Islamic New Year)
- Sunday, November 9 (dependant on moon-sighting)- Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday
- Saturday, November 30- Commemoration Day
- Monday, December 2- UAE National Day
