A New Study Shows More Than Half Of Residents Are Worried About The Plastic Usage And Support A Plastic Ban

A new study has found that more than half of the residents of the UAE are concerned about plastic usage and many support a ban on single-use plastics.

The study, conducted by YouGov, found that 52% of UAE respondents are concerned about the use of plastic in the city.

It follows recent reports that the UAE produced more than 8.3 BILLION tonnes of plastic last year.

The study also found many people are reusing plastic goods.

The study also found that 54% of people surveyed would support a ban on disposable coffee cups and foam egg cartons

The difference between supporting or opposing a plastic ban, in general, was comparable, but the main products to ban saw a 54% majority.
