WhatsApp calling features are enabled in the UAE today, surprising many users.
The feature, which has previously been blocked by UAE regulators for its failure to comply with telecommunication laws, is working today, which many have celebrated on social media.
No statement has been issued by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) as yet, but the function is currently working on the app… for now.
It seems #Whatsapp calling is now functioning in #UAE after being unblocked
