Adding yet another superlative to all the infrastructure marvels in Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, broke grounds and launched the world’s biggest solar power (CSP) plant.
Located near Al Qudra, this 700MW project represents the fourth phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
Today we commenced a new phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park – 700 MW worth AED14 billion to provide clean energy to more than 270,000 homes in Dubai. The ultimate goal of Dubai is to be the most environmental friendly city by 2050 and this project is a huge leap forward in UAE’s efforts in producing clean and renewable energy.
