We came across this video of a resident who was distributing dates to the Dubai Police who fire the cannons.

When Zaiena shared dates with the police, they invited her to have Iftar with them and it was the sweetest gesture

She expressed how grateful she was and how kind they were. She also said the gesture reminded her of the kindness she feels at home. You can hear them in the background of the video saying “Come, it’s Ramadan. Come eat with us.”

The spirit of Ramadan is truly all around with people distributing hundreds of Iftar meals a day to drivers on the road at sunset, and to those who are less fortunate in areas like Al Quoz.
