Al Baik, some think it’s overrated, some love their fried goodness, and others love the nostalgia it brings them. The popular chain first opened in Saudi Arabia and it was about time it came to the UAE.

Its first location opened in The Dubai Mall and its second was at Expo 2020 Dubai (which we miss).

Al Baik announced that it’s opening soon and hinted that the new location is in Dubai

It looks like Al Baik’s (technically second) location is going to be in the Mall of the Emirates

Al Baik posted the announcement on their Instagram page saying “We’re getting closer, Can you guess where we’re opening next?⁣⁣
Hint🤫: It’s in Dubai.⁣⁣” A mere 24 hours later, a Dubai resident actually figured it out.

Nicola Ellegaard took to Twitter and said “So I guess this will happen in MoE soon – good luck with queue management in the food court?”

Mall of the Emirates has 2 food courts and it’s going to be in either one of them. The Dubai Mall’s food court is significantly larger and yet the queue for Al Baik is always long. Hopefully, with 2 locations, the queues won’t be too long as usual.
