Breakups are tough, sure. But dealing with a heartbreak is even tougher!

Most people wallow in self pity, resort to eating copius amounts of carbs, but for some, like this Alexandria-based woman, dealing with a breakup includes some sass and a savage post on a global online marketplace-OLX.

She put up her ex-boyfriend on sale on OLX

Maybe she is trying to move on or processing the breakup in her own way, but if that wasn’t enough, she listed her ex under the ‘animals’ section on OLX.

Go figure!

In the ad, which has since been deleted, she wrote, “I am selling my ex. His name is Omar Zeitoun. He is good-looking and calm, and he has long hair. He studies English law and drives a motorcycle.” She also added that he is ‘scratch-free.’ To add to the joke, she also wrote that she is willing to accept whatever price she is offered. And about the category, she said, “I didn’t find any section to present him in other than the animals section.”

Now, we’d say that the fun ends here, but one Egyptian photographer, Nour El-Din Fkronh, actually saw the OLX post and tried to ‘buy’ the boyfriend.

He put up a picture of him with the BF and this post on his Facebook page

“I bought the lad who was being sold by his girlfriend on OLX”, said he.

After which, the BF, Zeitoun, posted a video of himself riding a motorcycle and tying to be cheeky with a caption that read, “they say [I’m] for sale.”
