A frustrated tweeter has taken to social media to share her frustration that many can relate to – albeit on different perspectives – about children in the cinema.
Shelina – a well-known Dubai tweep, shared a message, while seeing the movie Crazy Rich Asians, asking Vox Cinemas to step in – when a child was screaming during the film.
pet peeve of watching movies in cinemas in Dubai ???? there needs to be strict monitoring

There is a law that if the kids are being disruptive then they can be asked to leave if im not mistaken.

They can throw them out for disturbing other patrons. It has happened a few years back in reel cinemas but only after a few of us had to walk out and frog march the manager into the cinema to get them out. This family had brought a baby into the screeing who was screaming.

kids should not be allowed into adult rated movies period, especially violent action movies, more strict monitoring is needed, kids should not be exposed to this at such a young age

Do you all complain about children/babies being out in restaurants (at a reasonable hour, I do not mean after 9pm) and tut, when a child cries on board a flight?

The back and forth continued – with age restrictions mentioned, and conventions in other countries.
Yes!! But then again movies like Crazy Rich Asians is not for kids anyway. They shouldn’t be allowed into the cinema even with the PG13 rating. https://t.co/nOuIri07j3
