A motorist in Dubai will be deported after he attempted to use a photoshopped parking ticket to park for free.

According to Gulf News, an RTA inspector spotted a suspicious-looking parking ticket placed on the dashboard of a car in Karama.

When he evaluated that the ticket was forged, the inspector called the police

The police identified the car-owner to be a 25-year-old expat worker.

The Dubai Court of First Instance convicted the defendant of tampering with and using an RTA parking ticket.

The convict used Adobe Photoshop to forge the ticket and told the court that he only use it “once by mistake”.

The ruling remains subject to appeal.
