The RTA announced on Wednesday that the Dubai Metro would start operating earlier than usual, precisely from 4.30am this Friday, to accommodate the Dubai Run participants. Since a huge number is expected to turn out for Dubai Run, a marathon that will take place along Sheikh Zayed Road, the Dubai Metro has rescheduled its starting time from its usual 5-5.30am to 4.30am.
Dubai Run is part of the 30×30 Fitness Challenge where for one-day only, a sea of people will flock onto Sheikh Zayed Road, all in the name of fitness!
For the first time ever, part of Dubai’s busiest road will open up for runners in collaboration with Dubai Fitness Challenge. The run symbolises the incredible effort of the city to rally residents to achieve their fitness goals.
To ensure the arrival of participants to the #DubaiRUN race, we changed the operating hours of #DubaiMetro on Friday, November 8, 2019, with the first trip starting at 4:30 am. You can reach the start line from the World Trade Centre Metro Station. #DubaiFitnessChallenge pic.twitter.com/8ayo2cINkL
