Footage of UAE-based pilot at Etihad Airways, Shaima Rashed, who was one of the country’s first female commercial pilots was uploaded on YouTube and it has received nothing but inspiring sentiment.

An aviation-focused YouTube channel called ‘JustPlanes’ shared footage of Shaima and her co-pilot Sophia, before taking off for a flight from Abu Dhabi to Paris. Sitting aboard a plane about to takeoff must definitely feel more nerve-wracking from the cockpit, but these two show us it’s easy peasy- and just another workday.
