A Couple Of Dubai Students May Have Ingeniously Solved The Massage Card Dilemma

Avatar

Barsha Heights residents’ will have known the painstaking struggle of finding those copious massage cards places on car windows.

Unfortunately, areas like Karama and Bur Dubai also deal with the same dilemmas- and it’s been ongoing for quite some time, until now.

Four high school students in Dubai have invented a ‘collector’ machine- potentially ending this issue

…once and for all!

Students of Our Own High School Al Warqa’a, Rahul Arepaka, Atin Sakee, Ethan Hadimani, Sanjay Pramod and Vaibhav Areparaka, were done with seeing the vulgar cards on the daily- and thus began the innovation that is the ‘E=MC2.’

The machine, if approved by the Ministry, will allow residents to throw massage cards into the machine and work like a loyalty programme, adding points as a reward system

Pretty impressive thought and one that is already a prevalent activity in Dubai, where many partake in loyalty programmes.

It’ll work a little like an ATM machine, wherein an individual ‘deposits’ the massage cards into the machine, scan a card where the points will then be transferred. These points can then be used to claim rewards.

Local reports say that in order for this to work, the help of external organisations would make a big difference. For example, if this gets the approval of the RTA, where then people could use the points to add an amount to their nol cards and use this for public transportation, or even public parking.

There is no confirmation as to when this will be rolled out, as it awaits approvals and advice from authorities.
