If you were driving around last night, you may have noticed Dubai’s highway monitors greeting neighbouring country Oman on the occasion of its National Day. It’s pretty exciting whenever it’s a GCC country’s national day because the way the rest the countries under the council show their brotherhood through celebrations is just done differently.
Such is the case when the towering Burj Khalifa lit up with an image of the Omani flag in honour of its National Day, observed on November 18.

In a tweet, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, greeted Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman on the occasion of Oman’s 49th National Day.
