Eid Al Adha is upon us and with it comes the announcement that HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has pardoned 547 prisoners.
The prisoners of different nationalities spread across various Dubai correctional and punitive establishments will be released ahead of Eid Al Adha, giving them a fresh start in life while easing their families’ suffering, as well as helping the prisoners reintegrate into the community according to Attorney General of Dubai His Excellency Essam Issa Al Humaidan.
The legal procedures to release the prisoners have begun.
