A Social Media Influencer Has Been Banned After Posting ‘Offensive’ Videos Online
An influencer just got banned after posting videos that have been considered ‘inappropriate’ and ‘offensive’ bu UAE authorities.
The unnamed social media star has been banned from using their account for seven days
According to The National, several people had filed a complaint to the Federal Public Prosecution for Information Technology Crimes about content the influencer shared which was found to be in breach of public modesty.
As a result, public prosecutors brought called them in for questioning.
While the current embargo is for seven days, authorities reserve the right to extend the ban
