Team Angel Wolf Has Bossed It At An International Triathlon And Is Going From Strength To Strength

Team Angel Wolf, aka the Watson family have done plenty a triathlon over the years, father Nick, along with son Rio and daughter Tia, completed 62 races last season ALONE.

And they’re kicking off the new season in a big way with the Belgrade 11 Tri.

Team Angel Wolf has gone international

And Rio, who has a rare chromosome disorder called Q44 Deletion De Novo, which causes many health issues such as seizures, learning disabilities, motor skills disabilities, among others, but it doesn’t stop him from some pretty impressive athletic feats.

And he’s completed his ninth mid-distance tri at the 11 Tri in Belgrade this week. Amazing!

Today Rio officially completed his 9th middle distance triathlon (1.9km swim, 90km bike, 21km run at @11tribelgrade) …. not bad for a 15 year old boy! It has been a great day and hard day .for #TeamAngelWolf … with our first race of the season being such a long distance after a long hot summer making training limited … but goal accomplished; Rio was included and embraced, the mission messages was spread further and Rio is happy so we are happy! Very proud of Emma Holt @pickles3088 … her second ever Triathlon race being a middle distance (after only doing super sprint previously) and she finished with a 3rd placement trophy for her category …. incredible! Proud to have you part of our #TAW Athlete Pack Emma! THANK YOU @11tribelgrade for a great race! Highly recommend this race for those looking for a middle distance next season!
