Lifestyle retail destination Virgin Megastore, along with Fetchr, have initiated the Pay It Forward project this Ramadan wherein donations to the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children can be made from your doorstep.

The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children is a licensed non-profit shelter for victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking in the UAE.

The tie-up aims to bring essentials supplies to the residents of the shelter, as well as encourage more individuals to engage in social work and make a difference in society.

How does this work?

It’s pretty simple. Make a purchase of your favourite items online at Virgin Megastore. When you receive your package, make sure you do not discard the box. Instead, fill it up with the items you would like to donate. 

Ensure the items are in good condition

These can be clothes and toys for babies, toddlers or children, feeding and safety accessories, electronics and women’s clothing. Avoid edible items, medicines and stuff that’s fragile. Most importantly, try to keep the weight of the parcel to a maximum of 10 kg. 

Send the items through Fetchr

You can download the app from Google Play or the App Store and request a free delivery using the promo code PAYITFORWARD. You can also drop off the boxes to any Virgin outlet in the UAE.
