Dubai Peeps Are Baffled At Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte’s Advice On Cleaning Face Masks With ‘Petrol’
Urmmm well this clearly isn’t a joke because the Philippines’ outspoken President, President Rodrigo Duterte advised his people to use petrol as a disinfectant for protective facemasks and he declared that,
“What I said is true. Just go to the gasoline station, and then have some drops, that’s disinfectant. I am not joking. That is true. You think I am just kidding.”
The Filipino leader made the same remark last week of using petrol on masks as a disinfectant if other cleaning agents were unavailable, however, his spokesperson dispersed it as a joke. But Duterte stressed that his advice was NO joke in a live televised address on Friday, July 31.

Inhaling gasoline from such close proximity can lead to severe respiratory diseases and other chronic medical conditions.
