FREE PCR testing is also available for students across the UAE at select facilities

SEHA announced that students across the country are eligible for free PCR tests at select facilities. Unvaccinated students aged 12 and above must do a PCR test weekly if they’re not vaccinated.

ADEK also added that saliva tests will be available at G42 healthcare centres and SEHA drive-thru facilities

All governmental and private screening centres will offer the free COVID-19 tests for Abu Dhabi students.

In other news, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that the prices of PCR tests will be reduced to AED50 across the UAE! Medical facilities at the state level must show the results within 24 hours.

Previously, Abu Dhabi reduced the price of PCR tests from AED85 to AED65. Any medical facility that attempted to price PCR tests at a different rate were warned with fines and closure. Now, however the new fixed price for PCR testing is AED50.
