Take notes! The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee announced last night that only vaccinated people will be allowed to enter some public places.

93 % of target groups in the emirate have been vaccinated and the rule comes into effect from August 20, so you have time to get vacccinated!

The decision doesn’t apply to unvaccinated individuals with vaccination exemption received through the approved process and registered on Alhosn app, nor to children aged 15 and under, according to the announcement.

‘The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has approved allowing only those vaccinated to enter some public places.

If you want to enter health clubs, resorts, museums and cultural centres, theme parks, universities and institutes, schools and nurseries, you’ll need to be vaccinated

The Al Hosn app, which was experiencing tech difficulties, is now back up and running

It’s the responsibility of individual test centres to update results, so if your results are not accurate, contact the test centre you got vaccinated at

The ruling comes into effect on August 20
