This Guy WALKED From Dubai Airport To Barasti In One Day
Ben Echo is a DJ who was en route to South Africa when he realised he needed to pick some stuff up in Dubai. So, during a short stopover, he took the opportunity to WALK from one end of the city to the other.
No stranger to walking challenges, Ben walked through France, Spain and Portugal (1,100km) to raise money for CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably, to support men’s mental health) and decided to see if he could walk from Dubai Airport to Barasti, a cool 42km in a not so cool middle-of-the-day, 33 degrees Dubai heat. He had a pair of trainers and planned the route that took him through Deira and along Jumeirah Beach road.
It’s 35km in 33-degree heat, and he documented the whole journey on the gram
“I’ll see you in Barasti at about 6”
