Brook Yeshitila is an Ethiopian abstract artist who just did an exhibition at the Ethiopian Embassy yesterday- and his work is stunning!

Brook was diagnosed with a rare, progressive form of arthritis that made his whole body immobilized except for his arms

The artist was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), also known as Marie-Strümpell disease affects the spine and large joints of the arms and legs. Owing to this, he stopped painting for over 10 years. He then went on a retreat where he was able to find himself again.

Today he continues to express himself through his phenomenal artwork, sculptures, and installations.
