11 Women Prisoners Felt So At Home…They Refused To Leave Dubai Jail Even After Serving Their Time
Pretty much everyone serving jail time might be waiting for the day they’re set free.
Well, everyone except these 11 female prisoners imprisoned in Dubai jail.
According to a report by Khaleej Times, these inmates refused to leave the prison, even after fully serving their term, and go back to their countries because of the “good treatment and services” they were provided in jail.
Now this we can definitely believe!

Better facilities in jail than their home countries
In her explanation of where these feelings stem from, an Arab woman said “she enjoyed a safe life in prison, something she claimed she ‘did not have in her home country.'”
She also explained how, apart from being treated very kindly, she was also encouraged to learn new skills, including painting.
Some of the facilities in Dubai jail include:
- Huge library
- Recreational hall for sports
- Drawing room
- Playing area where matches are held
Moreover, inmates are free to walk around the buildings and rooms and make use of most of the amenities.
Dubai jail also has a very structured programme that focuses more on rehabilitation of inmates giving them due medical assistance and proper nutrition.
