‘Never give up’, is probably the approach that Dr. Nadia Bastaki took to achieve all of her dreams.

Nadia Bastaki is the first female UAE national to be registered as a specialist in aviation medicine. She graduated with a degree in aviation medicine from the King’s College London and is also a certified private pilot.

Thanks to her 20 years of experience in aviation medicine, she is now involved in the UAE space programme and is helping in conducting medical tests for UAE astronauts.

According to local news, His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai’s quote “Becoming number one is not impossible – the word impossible doesn’t exist in our dictionary,” has encouraged her and driven her to the point of achieving her goals.
